Responsibilities:

• Own and drive development, testing and delivery of features in the team.
• Design core, backend software components that can scale as our product does.
• Implement web interfaces that work across desktop and mobile.
• Conduct design and code reviews.
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
• Responsible for resolving, testing any production issues when they arise.

Requirements:

• Passion for solving the world’s toughest problems, and the smarts to actually solve them.
• Solid knowledge of software engineering principles.
• Ability to work in an agile development environment.
• Advanced knowledge of relational databases and SQL, preferably MySQL.
• Advanced knowledge of web protocols and services.
• Experience working with PHP.
• Experience building large-scale server applications.
• Desired Skills(would be a plus):
• Not be afraid to code across a number of languages from PHP to Java and JavaScript.
• Experience in developing software for distributed systems with the high performance, scalability and availability.
• Familiar with agile development practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
