We are looking for an Content Marketing Manager, either to work remotely or at our Berlin headquarters, to join us for project-based work with the possibility of evolving into a full-time position.

Your role:

You keep your finger on the pulse of technology news, finding interesting stories to cover and stay up to date with the latest trends
You develop an editorial calendar for our website, dataconomy.com, and write or commission stories
You develop an understanding of our audience, important influencers and communities, and tailor your marketing efforts to suit
You love analytics, and are driven to always find ways to improve the performance of our content across social media
You help build our online community by creating conversations on social media, and building audience engagement across all channels
You build relations with relevant press agencies and PR companies
You attend meet-ups and conferences, aiming to build strategic relations and exposure for our brand

Expectations:

You are a quick learner and thus quickly dive into our business model and content marketing processes
Working knowledge of German is not necessary but strongly desired
Tools: WordPress, Mailchimp, Buffer, Google Analytics, or similar social media and content management tools
You have very strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
You have excellent communication skills
You are able to learn quickly and educate yourself on current work related topics
You quickly adapt in a fast paced environment and have a drive for learning
You are very motivated to make a successful career within start-ups
